Last week we taught our beginning sewing class (we, as in not me!). The class was great, Sharon and Margaret did a wonderful job and the group of young ladies we had together were so fun.
Beginning Sewing is for brand new beginners. In the class there is an overview of how a sewing machine works. And by the end of class, the students leave with a super cute pillow case (with all enclosed seams - Sharon [above] is a genius!)

Kristin is busy pressing - not ironing - her pillowcase.

Claire lugged in her 32lb. machine and made pillowcases for her bed.

Ali picked out fabric from Amy Butler’s Love line.

Margaret is demonstrating a seam.

Sarah made pillowcases for her little girls.
There are three more beginning sewing classes left in the summer schedule.
Saturday, June 19, 1-4pm
Wednesday, July 14, 6-9pm
Saturday, August 7, 1-4pm
